Monaco Royal Wedding wishes

Rosemont Monaco SAM sends its very best wishes for the Royal Wedding celebrations to H.S.H. Prince Albert II, and his bride-to-be Charlene Wittstock.

The South African Olympic backstroke swimmer is set to marry Prince Albert II on Friday 1st July, She met the Prince when she traveled to Monaco for a swimming competition in 2000. They have been together since February 2006 and got engaged in June 2010.

The festivities will have a truly fairytale quality involving thousands of the Principality’s residents as the cast of well-wishers.

The Prince and his bride will tie the knot in two ceremonies.  A civil service will take place on Friday 1st July at 5.00 p.m. in the Palace Throne Room followed by a religious ceremony the next day in the Palace Courtyard. Giant screens will be installed in the palace square for citizens to follow the live broadcast. Afterwards the couple will head for the Saint Dévote Church and their route will take them along various avenues in the Principality allowing the throngs to congratulate them.

Events surrounding the wedding include a concert performed by The Eagles on Thursday evening followed by an open air gala concert given by the French electronic visionary Jean-Michel Jarre on Friday night with the port as a stunning backdrop.

The newlyweds will see out the happiest day of their lives on a terrace watching a spectacular firework display.
